My partner Christof studied fine art at TUKS and he told me a story once of something one of his lecturers would yell, with much ferocity, whenever he was critiquing students' work: "Just add some Purple Lake, I'm dying for some Purple Lake!".
 
Of course, this was in reference to the Winston and Newton shade of oil paints called "Purple Lake". I found this story so unique and intriguing - I had to create a colourway inspired by it.
