I read this article once where this guy went on about how we need to build and create things that last forever...otherwise we are simply building sand castles that get washed away by the waves. 
 
 It got me thinking: Why do we need to do that? I think it's okay for things to be fleeting. It's okay to simply enjoy something in the moment knowing that it will not last. Doesn't that make it even more precious and special?
