MY NAME IS PIETER
Taught how to work the needles by my grandmother, I have been knitting for over 20 years. It's the only hobby or interest that has remained constant throughout my life (I've been through a few!)
I am constantly amazed by what can be created from something as simple as a skein of yarn, from "simple" items like hats and socks, to elaborate pieces of art with colours and textures that are too irresistible not to touch and marvel at. After years of drooling over online videos of wonderfully talented people dying yarn and creating magic - I couldn't stand on the side lines any longer.
Aldert Yarns was born.
